Page Log: How Nemu Came to Be
Series: Bleach
Characters: Mayuri, Nemu, Yumichika, Ururu, with brief mentions of Ikkaku, Byakuya, and Ganju
Warnings: This is a sad, perverted adaptation of a children's tale. But it's worksafe.
Semi-IC. Orihime = tesstrosa, Nemu = mettemuse
Orihime pouts, "It's not my fault Mayuri is like a perverted Gepetto!"
Orihime: 'He got lonely one day, so he made himself an inflatable girl doll.'
Orihime: 'Through his wishes, she became alive! But a rubber girl doll could never learn to be a real girl!'
Orihime: 'The kind Blue Fairy (Yumichika) came unto the poor rubber girl and assigned to her a conscience in hopes that she would learn how to be a good and true girl!'
Nemu listens.
Orihime: 'Little Ururu the cockroach pouted at Nemu, but helped her through life as only she could!'
Orihime: 'Eventually, bad influences came to lure Nemu away! Ikkaku taught her the sin of dancing, Byakuya the sin of pride, and Ganju, the sin of st00pid!'
Orihime: 'Soon, Nemu stopped going to school altogether and hung out with all the jackasses. Mayuri was so distraught, he ran out into the rain to rescue his wayward, rubber daughter.'
Orihime: 'Along the way, he was swallowed by a giant Hollow.'
Nemu: Oh my!
Nemu's face remains passive while saying so.
Orihime: 'Upon hearing this news, Nemu rushed to rescue her father.'
Orihime: 'Together, they lived within the Hollow until they conceived of a way to make him sneeze them out! Unfortunately, Hollows don't sneeze.'
Orihime: 'So they just had to cut their way out.'
Nemu: With our knowledge of anatomy, it would be pretty simple.
Orihime: 'Covered in gore and lost in an ocean of souls, Nemu acted as Mayuri's liferaft.'
Nemu floats really well.
Orihime: 'By the time they reached the shore, she was almost entirely deflated and she'd lost her little cockroach guide too! Mayuri wept over her for there was nothing he could do to patch up his wet child. She'd sacrificed her air for him!'
Orihime: 'The Blue Fairy (Yumichika once again) saw all this and tiptoed over. So moved was he that he waved his magic zanpakuto and granted Nemu life.'
Nemu: And a pony?
Orihime: 'While Mayuri wept over his daughter, she filled out once again. Rubber became flesh. Organs and other tissues replaced the ai--no, not a pony :('
Orihime: 'Looking down, Mayuri saw his daughter's breast before his face.'
Orihime: 'He was so overjoyed!'
Orihime: 'He'd never seen real ones before.'
Orihime: 'Now they live together as a family and though ponyless, Nemu never looks back at being a rubber doll!'
Orihime: 'though sometimes daddy does.'

Nemu has run out of frogs to dissect.
