I walked upstairs, pretty smug with the fact that I just stood up to a psycho-zombie guy, and actually won. I'd say that's a big 'yay' for the Xand Man, and a big 'take that' for Cordelia. Let her hate me all she pleased, there was nothing I could do about it anymore.
But at least I finally got that I didn't need to prove myself to her anymore, and that was pretty okay with me.
I'd saved people tonight. Granted it was just my friends, and maybe a few janitors thrown in the mix... But still, if the school'd blown up, it would have caused a serious problem with that stopping the Hellmouth from opening, and then the whole world would have been in trouble.
Definitely a big yay for me thing. Xander does his part, and it turns out it's not just being 'Running for Snacks Man'.
... Now that I think of it, I wonder if I can get a cape for that.
I walked out into the night air, and smiled a little as I looked around. It'd probably be a good idea for me to get home before everyone left, they should be done the big battle any minute now, and I think watching some Apocalypse Now with serious snackage would be a good reward.
