it's good to scare yourself

I quit my job yesterday afternoon, which was one of the more nerve wracking things I've done recently! On my way back to work at lunchtime I rang my sister, hoping for moral support to steel myself ready to quit. It was all going fine 'til I suddenly got a rush of "Oh my God! What am I doing?" and burst into tears in the middle of Guildford High Street! But I'm feeling a lot better now. When I talked to Dan and Pete and explained to them what I was thinking it all just made so much sense.

I'm off to work for a small company, just round the corner, on what is going to be a superb game. I'm really excited about working for a small company, and I get to do networking, and the people there seem really nice, and good at their jobs.

I think it's probably a good idea to scare yourself a bit every now and then. Recently I've been getting a bit complacent and a bit bored, and work hasn't really been challenging. So now I'm petrified, it should be an interesting ride!
