...working my tail off lately, and its showing. I'm so damned tired I can't even remember the name of the street I live on.
Not that I need to know that RIGHT this second... you get the point.
Looking at apartments in Oakville; we've got three in mind at the moment one of which it turns out, is managed by a company my mother's friend works for. Score! If only I LIKED that one.
Weekend weirdness.
Went to Bones' cottage to work - got lots done. Also read the blue sword, and bashed lobsters with beach rocks, for lack of crackers. Please note, using rocks swung at high velocity to break lobster exoskeleton results in a spatter radius of eight point three feet.
They look like little monsters, but they're good little monsters.
Katie's rat suddenly lost the use of his entire hind end and had to be put down. I came home to find out my eldest rat had died.
No more rats.
They have such short little lifespans, and I'm such a miserable wuss, I can't take it. After my boys go, no more rats.
Arguing with a drawing for Bo currently. I can't get the hand to work properly. Foreshortening vs. Wormwood - round two. I'll let ye know how it goes.
Leaving tonight after dinner for Chris's paternal side family reunion.
Dear gods of uncomfortable family-in-law-reunions;
Let there be a bar.
Mum's on more antibiotics after her abdominal surgery wound became infected. All I could think was, 'wow, if this were a fantasy novel you'd be dead in three pages'. But she sounds better, and is eating regularly again, so I'm not QUITE pulling my hair out yet.
Her current nurse's daughter went to Beal (the same highschool I went too), and is starting at Sheridan in September. So apparently now I have to look out for some quiet girl named Amy who's mother is a nurse.
Trying to figure out how I'm going to be able to pay for second semester plus the university english I need whilst making enough money to pay off my loan.
Work + full course load + night school=zilch, wherein zilch is the number of hours free for sleeping/existing outside a work/school setting.
Roleplay is fun however, and keeps me amused. Lately I've been playing 'how many times can I get Vanguard ALMOST killed'. I think I'm up to a count of six now, and he hasn't actually saved himself from any of those six. Useless characters are always the most amusing. They're kinda forced to grow a sense of humour in order to cope with their own pointless existance.
What does one wear to a reunion?
I don't recall this being mentioned anywhere in 'etiquette today'.
Is vinyl acceptable?
Meh.
Must go pack now, and drink something caffienated to maintain conciousness. See ye Monday.
