[private, unhackable]

This? This is my punishment? This is what Hell is? I can’t believe it, it’s like some place out of a children’s story. Ridiculous.

This has to be a joke. Who-

But I am dead. Suzaku killed me, just as I agreed to. If I died there, then I ended up here, the only sensible conclusion…

No, there’s nothing sensible about this at all. I’ ( Read more... )

Ah! Of course! As the only member of the welcoming wagon, it is my duty~

*Asuka bows* My name is Asuka Cranekick, I am a demon, which shouldn't surprise you - you have arrived in the Netherworld.
If you need any help fitting in, orientating yourself, or finding food, just ask~

Give me a break. Demons?

Well, having a welcoming service for a world full of demons seems oddly convenient, doesn't it.

Oh, sorry. I'm Lelouch, and it's nice to meet you.

((OOC: Italics are thoughts.))

Nice to meet you, too.

And, well, to be honest, I had to establish the welcoming service myself - most demons are honor students and too lazy to do, sadly enough.
I'm a demon delinquent, and while my delinquency pales compared to that of my lady, I of course do volunteer work like this to make it easier for you poor arrivals.

Hm, everything's very backwards here, isn't it? I guess that's to be expected.

Can you tell me what you know about the Tyrant Overlord Baal?

Most demons are backwards, but a few of us are very forward thinking!

Of course, glad to be of help~
Tyrant Overlord Baal is the most well known feared Overlord of all the Netherworlds, it is rumored that his level is over 9000. His main attribute seems to be boredom, so he stole most of the people here from their worlds, including three other overlords. He hasn't done anything else, and isn't even actively preventing anyone from leaving.

His main servant is Scrooge Mcdood, a prinny with a monocle and a hat. Prinnies are the talking penguins you can find basically everywhere - but PLEASE do not pick them up and throw them, it is a very rude thing to do.

Maybe this really is Hell. Everything's so… Dammit, I guess that depends on--

You said he's not actively trying to keep anyone from escaping? I assumed we were trapped here.

Well, both are true. He isn't actually holding us, the dimensional portal is just broken, and the gatekeeper is a typical demon so...she isn't attending work much.

Ignoring the possibility that Baal's sabotaged this "portal" himself. Unless he really does just get a rise out of arbitrary shenanigans, you'd think he'd take at least some basic precautions to keep us here--assuming he did go through the trouble of kidnapping us all.

Typical demon, you say. It's like a culture shock or something. I wonder how anything gets done if no one actually does their job.

Well, unless some of us delinquents volunteers, typically nothing gets done. It IS a world of demons.

Well, if demons are evil, I suppose laziness is a sin. Still, a society like this doesn't seem like it could function well… if at all.

I don't think the overlords care much about the society functioning as long as they have fun.

the_worlds_sins January 15 2009, 11:00:12 UTC
Maybe, but wouldn't a functioning society be more entertaining? Typically, the child with a broken train set doesn't have much fun with it.

But that'd require the Overlord to make an effort. Few Overlords make such an effort. In fact, many of them are known to not be seen by anyone for years, because they were sleeping, or playing video games.

Is that so. That's almost depressing.
