I am almost 100% certain that no-one will know this show, or these characters but it's a kooky British show about a fish out of water British detective working on the fictional caribbean island of Saint Marie. The first two seasons featured a different male lead but I have fallen in loveship with his replacement Humphrey and the lovely Camille. Highly recommend this show if you can get hold of it anywhere. It airs in January here and the gorgeous setting is a real antidote to the British winter!
