'06, bitches!

In all honesty, it's going to be much of the same '05 business, but I had lots of fun ushering in the new year. I have 27 minutes of Xmas break left and then I hit that long road back to Augie, breathe deep the cat food scented air, and start my first desk shift of the year.

Break was very fun and fulfilling. Played nerdy games with my younger brother, went on a failed excursion to Joliet with my older brother, and learned more about both of them while doing each. Talked a lot with my father, who jokes about becoming a motivational speaker. Helped my mother around the house whenever possible. Chatted with my sister, who has less than 24 hours to read The Odyssey. Celebrated two holidays with family and friends, bid farewell to that Byrnes kid, made some leaps into my generation and some plans for the future, and reconnected with people I never see anymore.

I really, really, really don't want to go back to clinicals. I have to, but why should I bother when I don't really do anything? The rest of my classes are fine, all things considered.

Story of the college kid's life, I guess. Love getting away from home and living the student life, hate doing the student work...

See you on the campus of a thousand hills!
