Only a matter of days now before we break up for the Easter. Doesn't really feel like I'm breaking up, more feels like i'm jumping out of the frying pan into the fire as i'm wanting to do as much overtime at work as possible and loads of revision. I've realised that to achieve my full potential, I will need to actually do sensible revision, i can't just get by on what i pick up on the way anymore.
Sort of in the same situation as
funkymonkey1986 financially at the moment, the difference being, I'm hopefully gonna get some money tomorrow. I shall eagerly be checking my bank account at soon after midnight. If i don't have any money coming in, it could be a problem; i'm relying on it to get home for the easter weekend and feed me over the next 5 weeks.
Nemo and I sorted the radio show today, so that cool, got a great lineup of tunes from Lighthouse Family to SOAD, so i hope people will listen to the last Wookie and Nemo show of this academic year!!
Been hunting around for a kilt for the Maths Ball, found one i really liked at a shop here in Leicester... www.formalaffair.co.uk is their website. Gonna be weird running about in a kilt all night... now the decision is weather to wear boxers, and have everyone constantly flair up the kilt, or not to wear boxers, and enjoy the horror on the first person to do its face!!! HAHAHAHA
Got my Red Dwarf season 8 yesterday, quite a funny first episode, and ending on a great line "every one loves a bastard!" said by Arnold J Rimmer.
The question routing my mind today is to go to Red Leicester tonight?? Rob has invited me to MOSH, which is a very tempting offer, but the money problem arises, and there is a spare ticket going for Red Leicester. I'll probably end up going, also means
malaise doesn't have to walk back to mine on her own! :P
Night out with work tomorrow, bit shit really, have to cycle all the way to work, and then all the way back 2 hours later! suppose i am getting a free night at the Bistro Live, so, shouldn't complain really!
I'm looking forward to getting some sleep this weekend, Claire's coming over on friday night, and said she will revise over mine on saturday so we can revise together. I'm gonna start typing up my Topology notes i think... should be interesting trying to make sense of that crap! Its strange that even though I have self taught myself most of this fluid dynamics work at uni from the lecture slides, i'm the only one giving quick answers in the lectures, i find it wastes time otherwise as everyone just sits there in silence, and Manolis just keeps trying to edge us for an answer someone will eventually give! One of his favourites lines are "This is not difficult stuff.... common, your scaring me now!" HAHAHA.
If fear is the path to the dark side, and we associate people who are afraid as "Chickens" does that make Chickens the most powerful Sith in the universe???? Hmmmm *ponders*
