So today this post in
summerwrite kind of made me go 0_0.
So, yeah. This means that I actually should start working on my own
summerwrite, right? Also,
julnowrimo is really, really, really right around the corner. So, yeah. And at the very least I want to win
summer_scribble and
julnowrimo.
Enj is really super close to being done. Like, maybe, 500 more words? Maybe 1k if I'm lucky, but I'm not sure I'll be that lucky and really I'd rather it just be 500. Then I can hopefully trim it down a little when I edit to make it about like, 1k or something. Maybe I can finish it tomorrow, I'm way too tired to tonight. I've done more planning with enj than I've ever done with a story before...which is pretty ironic in a way because besides for my challenge for
the_dead_muse it's one of the shortest things I've ever written.
Right now I'm watching the 5th season of ER becuase I have it down here. I just started it and it's really interesting. Carroll is pregnant and Romano still has his other arm (ha). Lucy didn't get stabbed yet (which actually really suprised me) and the black girl who has HIV whose name I'm not even going to TRY to figure out how to write is still on too.
Ahh I'm still thinking about all of the things that I want/need to finish.
-I want my room to be finished by the end of the summer. It's taken me over a fvcking year to get everything together.
This all entails;
-Weezer poster (most likely blue album cover shot..unless I can find some red album promo stuff on ebay)
-Another 12" Titnaic poster to put along side the other
-Juno stuff put up
-Harriet the Spy movie poster put up above my bed
-Bookshelves (?)
-Other posteres (?)
-I also want to finish stuff. Specifically everything that I'm going to need for my protiflo for interlochen and other stuff.
-Essay (specifically one that an English teacher could look at and find absloutely nothing wrong with and give it a hundred thousand million percent...hopefully next years english teacher likes the idea of Interlochen more than Fulton does..or whatever teacher is in the writing ccenter when I have study hall)
-5 SHORT stories. I only need 3 for Interlochen..but having options is a very, very good idea.
-Only 1 (MAYBE 2) with Ethan and Emily.
-Make my way through the huge mess that is called the unnamed novella (or as it's doc. name is ssmrdrw)
-Possibly finish and write the idea I have now as my "free" kind of thing (as in, I really don't care how long it is or how off fucking topic it gets and how it doesn't really have any direction what so ever)
-Obviously finish enj (sometime in the next few days)
-Look at the novel, possibly backtrack and try to start planning more things out in a bit of detial OR just start from where I am now..but start doing all of that stuff now.
I'm not really sure what insipred me to make that list...I guess something did. -shrugs-.
Also, I barely talked to Ethan today and I still am nervous about what he's t hinking about everything...even though he sounded more than normal on the phone. I guess it's less "Oh, god, what the fuck did I do?" and more *squirms a bunch and wonders what he thinks* I wish I could remember if he worked tomorrow or not...it would be really nice to know if he did or not.
