A Pebble, A Diamond, A Star

Oh! Hello! I appear to be back again for my annual nocturnal post. I don't know why I fail to remember that this thing exists. I should be better at this, really. Since the last time I wrote, I moved to Bristol, failed to find permanent work but am temping in the office of loveliness, and passed my MA in the end.

Co-habiting/living in sin is a wonderful thing. I now own a teapot, a milk jug, and a vase which, more often than not, actually has flowers in it. I don't know how such bouts of grownuppery came about, but it is much nicer than living in halls, or shared houses, or other unfun domestic situations.

Life is basically good. I am reading a lot of books, but not as many as I'm buying. I gave up going to the library because I have over 150 books on my shelf that I haven't read yet, but this merely resulted in me buying more books that I can't afford because I was bored on my lunch break, having left my Kindle at home. It is a vicious circle indeed.

I don't know why I'm eating melon at 2am on a Saturday, watching the rain falling and having my own private trance-disco.
