I thought I'd write a few words just to let you know I'm still here, still reading, still whiling away hours when I could be doing something so much more useful.
Manchester has it's advantages. An enormous library, and limitless mental stimulation. Holocaust Studies is fascinating. I think the subject change was the right thing to do, though I am curiously still doing quite a lot of theology.
Owain is still brilliant. I am definitely moving to Bristol for good in September, and looking forward to a permanent home in the south-west. I am at home there, so much more so than anywhere else. I probably could have done with knowing that a couple of years ago, but London was fun and Manchester is a mind-bending experience.
I am so much closer to being a grown-up than ever before.
I still cannot write for toffee. I cannot knit tidily, and I have not learnt to crochet. My 101-in-1001 is going surprisingly well, though. I'm also being slightly more food-adventurous of late, and making very slow progress on teaching Owain that food doesn't have to be so alarming.
I am liking Kate Rusby and tea so much more these days. I am liking alcohol and pizza less and less.
That should suffice for the next few months.
