-A what?- bweeps T3, who'd missed that part of history sometime between the last time he'd been shut down and however he'd ended up in a Nexus Junk Store.
Gate sighs. He had been warned about dealing with Stardroids, he'd just thought the situation might make it worth their while if they were allowed to keep any other finds.
"It's an easy job," says Spider. "I can get coordinates, Gate can rig up a single use teleport device that'll move the whole barge to the far side of Mars so we can take all the time we want unloading it. But if you don't want in on this, I guess we can check around the Nexus for someone else with a ship..."
Terra briefly goes cross-eyed trying to look at the poking Sewercon, but since Wingnut's in his hair he can't possibly get a look at her. "Ahem, The ship is ready for a test flight?"
"Yes, sir," replies Jupiter.
"If we're gonna take it out anyway," says Mercury, "I don't see any reason not to make a profit at the same time. Sure, we can get stuff from Blackout... but this way we'd get more stuff."
Mars snerks at that. "If there's a profit in it, Mercury'll pick through anything." Including other people's data storage and subspace, which is what Mercury's Grab Buster weapon does.
"The intended target is a recycling barge, not a garbage scow," says Gate. "There wouldn't be anything 'squishy' on board."
T3 beeps a confirmation of that. -No organic matter is sent. Only damaged droids, metals, and electronics.-
"But the garbage is from squishies," retorts the tiny femme sagely, nothing about her attitude suggesting that Pluto's probably had to rescue her from more than one discarded can, or that she's constructed from cast off metals and electronics herself.
"But it's not really garbage," counters Mercury. "Not if they're sending it to be recycled. That means it has metals and alloys that are valuable enough to make it worth the bother of sending it to another planet to try to recover the materials."
T3 bweeps a string of explanation on ship power systems, including that there's likely at least one Gonk or other power droid aboard, the model of the ship usually used for the route in question, and that it has likely been modified as a droid barge with no human crew aboard.
Pluto, having padded in to keep an eye on Nyx, might just get a lil jealous there. Or he might be distracted by Nyx scritching one of his ears.
"Our interest is in the droids. If it ain't a droid, it's all yours," says Spider. "I don't care of you drain the power from the whole ship if you want."
And yes, there is purring. It seems Nyx has confused Daddy with a stuffed toy again, and is hugging and giving him ear scritches. Pluto doesn't seem to mind, though the other Stardroids present are attempting to ignore such undignified behavior.
Terra thinks about it and nods, looking to Mercury. "Call in the other Stardroids." Then he'll look to Gate. "You mentioned a teleportation device? Do you have it with you?"
"I'll meet you here with it in ten minutes," says Gate, and starts to head for the exit.
