I suppose it's been a while, and a lot has happened in the past couple weeks. Pretty much all of it was great. I visited dear Oost in Dallas and we saw the gorgeous Matthew Goode in the beautifully done Brideshead Revisited and got within spitting distance of Craig Finn from The Hold Steady, who are EPIC in concert and left my ears ringing for about the next 24 hours. Then it was off to Florida on a midnight ride for futher advertures, this time of the matrimonial persuasion. We had a blast hanging out with the family, the wedding party, and everybody else from Chicago and Texas at this destination wedding. I was dubbed photographer for the event and thus took millions of pictures. I'll post the good ones here.
Just an idea of how much food they had. FOUR CAKES.
Fearless bride directing troops.
Somebody died in the pool.
Unsuspecting swimmers.
Adam was there.
Off to the chapel...
Old friends.
Yay, they're finally married!
Oh, Adam. I can't wait to see the video of us singing "Ice Ice Baby" at the reception.
Cutest ring bearer EVER.
Sisters!
His name is also Matt. I think there were at least 3 Matts, so it got pretty confusing considering one was the groom, one was the priest (the other priest doubled as bartender, which I thought was totally awesome), and one was this guy.
OK, that's it. Sorry there are so many. Whatever. It was a damn good time.
