I've been here a long time, and I tend to forget. I shouldn't have done it, but I think I'm fairly comfortable. I know it shouldn't be like that. I know what's going on back home and I know that I need to go back. When I left, though, even that feels like a really distant memory. All of the people are here, and I've made up as best I could. Hermione hovers at the doorway for a few moments, as though trying to decide whether or not to come in, but it's not really much of a question before long as she places a hand on his shoulder, just barely pressing to usher him inside. "You're an idiot if you ever thought that it wasn't," she chides, blinking rapidly to keep anything from spilling over. "Took you long enough. To say it, at least, although I suppose suspense isn't a bad thing, I..."

"I love you, Ron," she simply states again, pushing a bit onto her toes--he's so blasted tall. "Sorry I've been... a bit difficult."

"I don't know if you even... want to know half of the reasons. And I don't think you've been bad at noticing, it's just... I guess I didn't expect that you would address it so directly." Fear pulls at her expression, just a bit, before she holds Ron's gaze steady. "Do you think it's wrong to let Malfoy know some of the stuff we've learned in the City?"
