I've been here a long time, and I tend to forget. I shouldn't have done it, but I think I'm fairly comfortable. I know it shouldn't be like that. I know what's going on back home and I know that I need to go back. When I left, though, even that feels like a really distant memory. All of the people are here, and I've made up as best I could. Comfort. Which is something which I could only hope that all of you can experience. It isn't a bad thing.

I guess that there ought to be a time and place, though.

While a war's going on back home... Not exactly meant to be an ideal time.

There is always something going on, somewhere else. If we don't take the time that we're given, there is never any guarantee that we will get more. Don't focus on the dread.

Except it's sort of like... I have done that, but now I figure that that's not the correct thing to have done.

Remarkably easier said than done, yes. Believe me.

I only want you to know that you ought to not feel guilty now that you have done it. The people who you're thinking of, I believe that they would want you to be happy if you could as well. Not happy in spite of them and whatever they are going through but happy because they would want it if you could have it.
