It's just occured to me that I forgot all about my dad's birthday, but I guess that doesn't really matter now.

I'm reminded because it's quite nearly my birthday, you see. I'm actually pretty glad for this extra day, because that means I don't have to work on the first. The time's way off and everything... Year-wise, I'll be 28, and I'm not even ( Read more... )

Well I was 25 in 1996, so if I went by numbered year I'd be.... really old. Anyhow, eighteen's a big birthday, you don't want to skip it.

Seventeen's the age for wizards. Eighteen probably won't matter much when/if I actually get it, anyway.

I don't really know. The mulled meade from the Three Broomsticks is pretty good, I've heard. The last I had was wine, though, and it nearly killed me. You know, like... Literally.
