Ok, so Alison planned a surprise birthday party for Nicole, but after the cake and presents it was basically just hang out and chill kind of party. We played the funnest game I've ever played in my entire life. It's like pictionary or something...everyone has one sheet of paper for all the people who are playing in a stack. Everyone writes down a word or an phrase, and then they pass the entire packet with all the sheets to the left. They person they pass it to has to draw what the first person wrote, and then the next person in line has to write what they think it is and so on. Everyone is doing this at the same time so you just go around in a circle until you get yours back. It's so much fun, it's insane. What started as Cleavage turned into a dad's tie. What started as a candle lighting a forest on fire turned into attacking birds, and then duck boxing. What started as Becca's dream of marrying *beep* turned into a guy with a huge mohawk. What started as a ballarina sledding turned into a porcupine sunbathing on the beach, a hedgehog running away from sharks, and then an squid in the water. What started as Libby and Josh Jones having a wedding when they were little (I found out it was a true story) turned into two teens on a date, then Nicole on her date with Brian (not the one form our school), then Nicole and Jeremy, then me and who I like, and eventually back to Bec and who she likes. It was so funny to see what happened. Although, it wouldn't have been as fun with Christine and Dev. Cuz Dev came up with funny ideas and she sucked at drawing the pictures so it looked weird, and Christine just is so blonde she can't tell what anything is. She's the one who messed up the Cleavage-Tie one.
We played Twister too, but not for long, and had Mac 'n Cheese and fruit salad. We were going to play musical chairs, but since Bec needed a ride since she was leaving early, I had to leave early with her to give her the ride. Then Kirsten came for the last half of it because she was feeling well enough to be there. It was so good to see her again. And the whole thing was a ton of laughs and silly things. I've been really down in the dumps lately and I've been feeling really alone, but this party really helped to show me what great friends I am, even though we're not all alike. It's amazing how God used it to reassure me, and I'm in such a better mood down. I'm going to work on my room some, and dad finally agree to help me. I think that things might be a little bit better now. I certainly hope so.
