Post Thirty Two: Fathers day ...again

After that she goes to do some chores. Pretty much nothing has changed. Oh, well she felt a little more compelled to be happy and loving. Her thoughts liked to point that ( Read more... )

[Shana is walking by 1670 Nelson, carrying a massive amount of groceries that her slender arms can barely cope with. A few times they drop and hit the ground, a can of beans rolling across the street and bumping to a halt at the edge of Tiffany's garden.]

Mou!

[She walks over, setting the battered bag down and grabs the beans looking up.] Tiffany?

[Tiffany glances over with a smile and a nod.]

It's been a while! [She twirls around, holding the can of beans, her cloak/jacket the Yogasa spinning out behind her like a little black whirlwind.]

How have you been?

Fairly well. I haven't really seen many people. Mostly just reading.

Anything good? [She peeks at the flowers a bit, Shana having all the domestic abilities of her adoptive mother, which is to say more or less in the negative side of integers.]

Well it would depend on your idea of good. I now know many cooking and cleaner tips for this world. Not much help on the Discworld though.

Also I've been working on a few side projects. Trying to figure out how old I am now, making a new journal, trying to teach Horace that he shouldn't go around stealing things here.

Hmmm.

Are some of the cleaning materials not available there?

[She blinks at the mention of how old Tiffany is.] Come to think of it, I don't know how old I am either. But... that was because I was picked up as an orphan. Wasn't it important for your family?

[She giggles a little at the idea of Horace stealing things.] What has he been getting into?

Not at all.

Oh I knew how old I was at home. But our calenders are different. For example we have eight days in a week and thirteen months in a year. So I'm trying to figure out how old I'd be with time I've spent here.

Silverware mostly.
