Erosion...

I have seen many beautiful things
I have seen the soft pale beaches of the Bahamas
I have seen the craggy snowcapped peaks of the Rockies.
I have seen the cold, violent Pacific
And I have stared out across the Atlantic.

I have seen many beautiful things
I have watched the poet sit alone and dream
I have seen the artist with brow furrowed
I have listened to the singer work her magic
And I have helped garnish the chef's masterpiece

Though I have seen so many beautiful things
I can and often say
Of all my fondest memories
Of everything I've seen and heard
The most beautiful of all is you

So, I put in my two weeks at Niki's. Yeah. When the old guy came and puked in the bathroom, it seemed like an Omen that now was a good time to do it. Don't ask me why. I was also accosted by a Wiccan yesterday. That was cool. We were in a hippie store, and there was a bunch of stuff on Paganism, and I made a wisecrack about being a druid or something, and inadvertently got myself wrapped up in a fifteen minute conversation about how it takes twenty years to even begin to be a druid. I was very interested and purchased several books on the philosophies involved in "druidism". Except for not. I ran away, because I didn't want to argue with the old tattooed lady...

I feel very lonely and empty and disconnected as of late, and I know why, but I'm not gonna take time to bitch about it here, because nobody cares and it's my problem.

EDIT: Okay, I feel better now. Looking at pictures of Kaitie and listening to Danny Boy will do that to me. Go figure.

Anyway...
