there's a hole in my pocket where my money should go.
so i'm still awake because i'm doing laundry.
i'm growing to embrace these nights when i can't get any sleep. i can be more productive and get a lot more shit done if i'm not bothering myself with a bunch of pesky sleep.
things have been ok.
its weird how things can be going great and you can be in an awesome mood, and then you can get a call informing you of a lot of not so great news concerning family members at home, and then you get really bummed out.
not too cool.
it happens though.
my mom got into a wreck yesterday afternoon and messed up her car pretty bad. luckily, she's fine and well, but the whole thing seemed to have her shaken up a little bit. my sister was sort of worked up too.
my grandma also needs to go to the doctor soon to figure out what's been going on with her. i can only cross my fingers and hope for the best.
it just sucks that i feel sort of helpless because i'm way over here away from all of them. i would be just as helpless back at home though, but that sort of logic never really stops anyone from worrying about stuff they can't change.
especially someone who worries as much as me. even when things are going good, i get paranoid about how they could potentially fuck up.
that's life, i guess.
i'm going to go register for classes in a few hours, and i'm actually pretty excited about it. i think i'll be able to really get back in the swing of things and do some good this semester. if i have the classes/schedule i'm trying to get, i think that could work out pretty nicely.
in other news, jesse moved up here a couple of weeks ago, so i've been able to spend lots of time with her, and that's been really awesome.
and i have a new name on aim: to be dirt again
not that it matters because i'm rarely around the computer all that much anymore, but it's there if anyone wants to contact me.
