(no subject)
Two important (or at least in my little world!) things happened today.
1) Autumn spent time away from me for the first time. Randy & I have a concert that we got tickets to months ago on July 11. Originally the plan was to take her (it's outdoors and she loves music!) but then she found her schedule, and, well... the middle of the concert would be her bedtime. We didn't spend over $100 to see half a show, and I'm not keeping her awake until midnight either.
So she'll go to my moms for the duration, hopefully sleeping the whole time anyway. To be prepared we're going to leave her with my mom for increasing intervals over the next few weeks. She did decently today all things considered. Randy thinks it was harder on me than her which is probably true. We went to the diner and got some dinner for about an hour, saw some old friends who had come into town. It was nice but I don't do well not knowing how my baby is. I guess this is practice for me as much as it is for her!
2) Randy's been talking about this for awhile now but I guess I didn't think he'd really do it. Today he bought clippers and when we got home he shaved off most of his hair! All the years we've been together he's had it on the longer side. Now he looks eriely like his brother, but I guess that's to be expected since they ARE twins and Chris does shave his head. He looks good, real good *hehe* but it'll take some definite getting used to.
Well, that's all my life boils down to today :) Nothing deep or introspective right now. Sleep, me thinks.
