Third paragraph from the bottom: did you mean to write, "shoeshoes"? XD
But seriously, I really liked this chapter. (I'm supposed to be asleep right now, damn yooou, I have work in the morning). I was interested how the whole "morning after the night before" trajectory would go, and it felt solid, real, sans angst and spitting emotions and just full of a genuine and subtle kind of affection.
Plus the last line really sat nice, just like a cup of tea does with a choccy bikky. <3
Woohoo! 'Nother chapter. Rock on. ^_^ The morning after is much more amicable than I would have expected. And I'm happy with it that way. Best line ever "Ocelot’s first flash thought about tied hands was not conducive or relevant to their present conversation." I literally snorted out loud at that. Well done! Bravissime.
Yeah, it turned out very mellow, which I think is appropos. Ocelot is nothing if not pragmatic, and he knows a good thing when he finds it, even if he might not want to fully admit to himself how good a thing it actually is.
And within amicability, there's plenty of other conflicts that can arise- both internal *cough* jealousy and external.
...I have to assume Volgin is going freaking fuckernuts...>_>
And you know, I really haven't sucked your literary cock in quite some time. I mean, I've reviewed. But that was more like a quick peck and a sniff as opposed to sucking...
Guess who is living by herself again? Go on. Guess. *giggle*
Ocelot’s first flash thought about tied hands was not conducive or relevant to their present conversation.
Neither was mine! lol
I wasn't expecting Ocelot to respond the way he did during the "morning after" encounter, but it worked. I'm looking forward to seeing where the rest of this goes. But hey, I'm satisfied as long as there's sex. XD
I think he's a little shaken up after the night before, in a "bigger fish to fry" type way. Raikov's position has shifted a bit in his worldview, from someone he can't help arguing with, to someone he loves arguing with, so while they may have reached a bit of a 'storm eye' interpersonally, the tension is not gone by a longshot.
Promise >;.) I hate easy cuddles and kittens and wiggly happy clowns.

That icon wins, like, everything from the Westminster Kennel Club show to the Publisher's Clearinghouse Sweepstakes.
And I've been too busy to make TVP icons, so you do me a huge favor as well as an honor.
Much love and lots of lolz, too.

Big Lightning. *dies* I love Volgin. I really love Volgin. If I knew shit from shinola, I would have to write a Volgin... uh-oh. I'm feeling...
Favorite line? Well, it's a description, really. The picturesque tableau. Almost like one of those paintings that you hang in the foyer...

...Volgin does pretty much rock, in a big, single-minded way. XD
