Hey everyone,

Well, I think the biggest news of late is that I re-joined my old band, Modus Operenda which consists of vocalist Tyler Rossman, guitarists James Hough and Nick Rynders, as well as former Silent Scorn drummer Alex Perez. Unforuntately, their old bass player Chris Urban is not able to play bass for them so I told them I would play until they find someone new or until Chris returns but it looks like I'll be here to stay. The first practice back went quite well; we ran through the old songs "Kill The Tune", "Three Sheets To The Wind" and "Deep Six" without a hitch and then I learned the new songs "Beneath The Floorboards", "Dead On Arrival", "Murder" and we're currently working on a seventh. I used Nick Rynder's Ibanez four-string and it felt good to come back into an enviorment when it's fun playing. It felt fun to go nuts and have fun playing the music with good friends of mine. Their manager, as well as Modus Operenda guitarist James Hough's girlfriend, Katie that we sound real good and it was fun to play again. For those who don't know, I quit Modus Operenda really early on into To The Death. I wasn't able to pull-off both bass playing duties but now that To The Death is laying rather dormant, I feel up to the challenge. I can't wait to play with Modus Operenda live; I feel it's going to be amazing. As far as I know, there are three shows coming up for Modus Operenda but they are in February, March, and April so when they come, I'll be posting them so please attend and support local metal. I know that a lot of you may not be happy with the return, but I'm sorry; who cares I guess? So please, if you don't like the band, support your friends and come see me play then.

Also, I bet you're all wondering what is going on with To The Death. Well, check out the website www.tothedeath.cjb.net and read the post and that should give you the gist. Also, stay tuned for more news because we're having band practice tomorrow.
