I actually agree with that in essence, though I think I'm pretty forgiving when it comes to suspension of disbelief. The only time it really comes up is if it's something I know much about, and that's just because it's plain lazy. I guess it also depends on the type of movie, the whole computer thing in Wall-E was something that blatantly wouldn't work, but I accepted it, since it would have just been crushing if he had turned into a worker bot.

Have you read any of Ebert's blog? His review of Transformers 2 is hilarious, along with his follow-up post to it, but I think my favorite writing of his is this, about that terrible, terrible documentary Expelled. But I find I like his essays more interesting than his reviews lately.
