"California Girls" by the great David Lee Roth. It's just so fucking awful that it'll take your mind off the ungodly temperatures [side effects of this song include suicide :)]

for some reason i assosciate a lot of upbeat, fast tempo songs with summer. i don't know why.

also the arcaede fire reminds me of both summer and autumn. but those are just my recommendations.

so do i.

i really should listen to that arcade fire cd all the way through. it's too compelling to pass up, and i need a cd to review for the skool newspaper.

"Smile" by onelinedrawing. It's my mix recommendation for anyone and everyone who isn't creating a mix with the intention of sad//emo-y songs. It's such a good song & happy in a very summer sense.

And "Photobooth" by Death Cab for Cutie. It's not the best song ever, but it gives me summery feelings. Maybe you too?

A friggin 12 gage, what do you think?!

Nooo, Sasha. Bad.

I don't know if you like Sublime, but "What I Got" is most definitely a song that makes me think of summer.

oh yeah, i love sublime. that's a good choice, as well as most of their other stuff too. "ebin" is one of the coolest basslines out there, not that it has anything to do with anything.

"i caught you a delicious bass."
hi-larious.
