Yesterday Becki stayed over and we actually didn't go to bed 20 minutes after getting back to my house for a change. We went swimming at midnight, made macaroni & cheese, and ate ice cream. I helped her make a promosquad account, too. That's definitely way more than we normally accomplish. We slept for a couple hours and then woke up at 7:30 and decided to stay up, so my grandfather apparently thought we stayed up all night. It was just too hot to sleep in my room. We went swimming for another 3 hours (and I actually got some color without burning! That never happens...) and eventually got unlazy and showered and went to get our checks. We ended up going over to Josh's apartment for a while, and it was so hot in that place... I thought my house was hot and I actually was looking forward to coming back to it after a few hours there. Walter was bouncing a tennis ball around and it hit a bottle with chewing tobacco spit or whatever and for some reason they leave those things around without even putting the caps back on, and it spilled all over my leg. Yeah, that was pleasant. After we left there we headed to the mall and I bought the newer Copeland cd, the new Underoath cd (with a dvd!) and Clerks (the cartoon) on dvd. I definitely shouldn't have spent all that money, but Clerks and Copeland were on sale so it wasn't so bad. We got some Chinese after realizing we hadn't eaten anything all day (and it was after 9pm) and drove down to the base to see Gerard, then decided we wanted to randomly drive so we ended up in Vermont for a bit.

Today was interesting. I got up and noone was home, so I decided to go to Dunkin Donuts to get a bagel and some coffee for breakfast. I ended up being lazy for a bit then finally got ready and was about to leave when my dog wanted to go outside. So, I took her out and she wanted to walk all over and then she decided to wiggle her way out of her collar and ran around my neighbor's backyard, then I chased her about a half mile down the road and finally managed to catch her and get it back on her. Needless to say she scared me, especially when she ran directly in front of a van. But, I got her back to the house :) Now, I'm going to read some more of The Ultimate Hitchhiker's Guide before my brother wants it back.
