So, I admit, I haven't looked at LJ much since... last time I posted. Two weeks ago. Sorry. :-/
Life is good! Work is steady and not completely mind-numbing. I've got lots and lots of creative projects going on (part of the reason I've been off LJ), and the home life with the Kitten o' Wrath has been excellent as well! Life is pretty good. We've just been adjusting back to normalcy since our road trip to the beach. Times are good.
Also, Mr CS Denton, I just received your book and will begin reading it soon. From a brief flip through the pages and a glance down the table of contents, it looks like a phenomenol read, full of all kinds of Absolutism, many which are rarely talked about. I'm looking forward to it, as something of an independent history fanatic. If anybody else on this list enjoys history and, in particular, crazy Absolutist Monarchs, please check out Absolute Power - it's over on Amazon.com. Also, just buy it 'cause I told you to.
I'm still considering a Deviant Art page, or some other place to display my writing. Some of it. LJ is handy and convenient, but more of a social networking tool than a gallery of fiction. It is ill-suited to the task. Anybody else with experience in Deviant Art know how things work over there?
