histrionics repeats itself all over again...

Friday
got an email from the boss towards the end of the day reacting to something that happened in the office - honestly just a misunderstanding in communication and nothing else - questioning how serious i am about work. a couple of emails were exchanged, but then he left early with the last word having been had by myself, so tomorrow could be a bit fun. i think 'a word' will be had, but i don't think i've said anything that can be taken exception to, so should be ok.
in the evening, headed over to Camden to watch The Steal supporting Big D. The Steal were amazing and Big D were wack (i'll never understand ska), but the main happy joy was all the amount of awesomes out. my circle of friends has got so big recently. obviously, i don't know them all properly an' whatever, but i've got an ever increasing amount of people that it's just amazing to be around. and it means i can pop along to shows by myself and there'll always be someone out i can talk to/at the very least stand near.
Saturday
this was my FFF gig at ROTA. talked about it on Myspace and PT already, but it went AMAZINGLY. all the bands were brilliant, my DJing was pretty awesome and i, and a good few others, got royally fucked. it was aces to have so many people out and it was just a really brilliant time. possibly my gig of the year so far, purely for atmosphere. also, because it was a matinee show, i was home in bed before midnight, totally wrecked off my face, albeit with bruised buttocks, having slid right down the steps outside the flat. slippery + drunk = ouch.
Sunday
went to Kingston to see Sar for the first time since she got back from Ireland. she's just awesome, and that's the majority of what i'm gonna say so i don't go off on one and make everyone sick. because i really could. cuddling up to her in the cinema was simply fantastic and put me on such a high that i only get when i feel affection back from someone. 'Magicians' was also far better than i expected and i recommend it to any Mitchell & Webb fan.
Monday
literally done nothing except text the lass loads, do some washing, watch loads of MEGA LOLZ inducing things on YouTube, followed by loads of The Simpsons on the telly and finally get round to loading a load of new albums onto my iPod. got Hot Cross, Sage Francis, Short Warning, Amber Pacific and The Higher all on there. the Sage Francis one was an impulse buy in Banquet, as it was playing when i went in and i was all "ooh!", and should go down the best at work.
so yeah, s'pretty good at the moment. so now i just need to sort the small things out, as the big things are alright.
Wednesday is New Noise, wanna see Sar again at some point on the weekend before Sunday and then Sunday/Monday are my next two gigs. good times.
