Chris at work wants Hassle to get involved with Compass. his idea is, i still get full 'creative control', they just help out with a bit of cash. basically, a bit of PR for the label, and things are less pressurised on me. also, i'd get to organise it AT work rather than in my spare time. not sure just how down with that idea i am. like, part of the appeal is trying to do it all myself, albeit with help from friends, but having had a look at/think about money (especially the clubnight), i think it's something that needs serious thought. as long as i can keep ticket prices low and none of the bands mind, it could be good. i just don't want things being taken out of my hands or feel like i have to put certain bands on the bill or use specific venues. there's no way i'm having the north gig at the fucking barfly in fucking camden for example. anyway, he's gonna mention it to Wez and Nige and see what they think. i have reservations over whther they'll get it though.
