horrid weather and horrid sickness

As usual the season brought the cough/cold combo. Good thing I've got a doctor's appointment on Friday; the thought that I have that keeps the panic from fully rising to the surface when I see droplets of blood mixed in with the phlegm whenever I cough. That's only happening this morning though (thank goodness), nevertheless I really don't need to be hospitalized or anything. I'm so hungry, but I'm really scared to eat. Oddly I don't taste the blood at the back of my throat anymore, so maybe it's okay to go eat now?
