Dad showed me one of his tech podcasts this morning, this one about the Kinect. He didn't say anything, but he made his "I want it! It's cool!" face. Sure, dad. You can have it if YOU buy the Kinect, and YOU buy the 360, and YOU buy the games, and YOU pay for the subscription.
I'm not gonna deny it anymore: I want a 360. I want to play the really cool games on the high-definition TV with 5.1 Surround sound and connect with friends through online games. I've been pretending I hate the machine for too long (unless I'm playing at a friend's house). I want the damn 360, and I want to buy it with my own money.
One of my friends told me that one of the only ways he talks to some people he knows is through online games or whatever message system the 360 has. I am le jealous, because there are people I don't talk to nearly as much as I'd like that have 360s.
Ugh. I hate griping about I WANT I WANT I WANT, but meh. Here's something nice to make up for it:
BAWWWWWWWWWW. WASH. This comic was a lovely tribute to him. <3
Also, I realized that neither my computer or dad's computer is bamf enough to run Sims 3. I was gonna start shopping for a terabyte, but I might go looking for a more studly laptop instead.
