I'm going to try to cross-post blog once in a while to both LiveJournal and Dreamwidth! No promises I'll remember to do it very often, but I'll try.
This November I'll be at Orycon in Portland along with my friend, Becky, working in the Dealer's Room. I will (hopefully) have some sort of display about the graphic novel I'm illustrating as well as offering custom fantasy portraits! I'm very happy they are having the convention at the Red Lyon at Jantzen Beach again!! What a great place :D This will be happening the weekend before Thanksgiving (Nov. 17-19). If you're in the Portland area, pop in for one of the days and come see me!
My husband recently found out he has qualified for his Veteran's Disability Pension! What a huge load off our shoulders!! We will actually be able to live in a real house :D After 5 years in a motorhome and the last year+ paying to have my art studio in storage, I was getting desperate to move into a house again. Praise God who does wonders! We will be looking to buy a small home, probably out here in Coos County (living in the Portland Metro area is still beyond reach). His disability rating will give him more options for home-buying, I'm hopeful that it will work out.
And I've been getting some (few) sales of my art through
Red Bubble, so I checked out
Society6 and they offer actual giclee process art prints. So now you can find me there as well. My most complete gallery of art is found at
DeviantArt for anyone who wants to catch up to what I've been doing.
Blessings to all who read this!
