Silly Cats
My cats generally like their catnip toys, so as a special treat I decided to grow some fresh catnip. Today I harvested some leaves.
I crushed them lightly in my fingers - nice strong odor! I dropped them on the carpet and the responses were as follows:
Joxer - sniffed at one leaf a couple of times and walked away to nap in his favorite spot.
Clawd - sniffed both leaves, yawned and hopped up on the couch.
Imp - sniffed both leaves and spent the next 5 minutes (by the clock!) trying to bury them.
Since they are soooooo excited by their fresh catnip, their Kitty Cousins may be receiving fresh catnip as gifties this year!
