(no subject)
Alright, first off...as I made painfully clear to some of my collegues in Toronto via facebook I've landed a job in Vancouver for the 2010 Olympics....there, the for former "secret" is out. Wasn't as ground shattering as first advertised I bet.
More detailed info is that I'll be working at Canada Hockey Palace (GM Place) for mens and womens hockey as camera assistant although my contract's tentative employment period ends before the gold medal game, I'm holding out hope that they're just giving blanket terms to everyone right now and I'll be celebrating with Team Canada in the dressing room.
Working on a place to stay out there for minimal $$$ and it's looking promising, apparently we have more family friends out there than I knew!
Secondly, still only somewhat employed at the moment and unless Chicago can fucking win me some games I might be done as early as Sunday and looking for work...i'm going to go kiss up to my boss and hopefully get the finals which would be at least 4 more days I NEED
Thirdly, hopefully taking a girl out soon, still tentative, we're trying to get our schedules to work...somehow she's free everynight I work...maybe being unemployed wouldn't be that bad! But this could just turn out to be another one of those good nights with a friend but that's cool. I've calmed down from the recent past few days when I was using too much of my head and not enough of my mouth to actually get things in action.
Fourthly...nothing else I can think of really. Bought a green t-shirt today...haven't owned one of those in a while. Looking for a sick pair of Globe shoes in size 11 but only 1 store I found has them and only in 12's and 10's....not working out too well.
