Jackie, propping her head up on her hands and trying to stay awake long enough to receive room service, wondered how someone could look so much like the cat who ate the canary, even in repose.

I like that imagery. :) This is very interesting so far -- looking forward to more.

Had some other solution to the problem of the Darkness been found?

I got sudden images of the band The Darkness shrieking I BELIEVE IN A THING CALLED LOVE! when I read this! Like they were some sort of criminal gang in the alt!world... oh dear, maybe I need some sleep?

Anywho, I'm loving this so far especially the attention to detail, the name of the town and for once a realistic time frame for a friggin zepp to get to Norway from England. Bravo! lol.. I hope more is on the way soon! :)

Since I'm sitting here writing this thing on *Google* Docs, it's really not that much to go find out how fast zeppelins travel or what little town on a bay might be near Bergen (also have to give full props to DW Wiki for the "50 km outside of Bergen" info on Bad Wolf Bay because I've watched that episode 85 thousand times but am too busy crying to pay much attention to geography).

There's a band called The Darkness? 0_0 Learn something new every day!

Oh GOD YES! There is a band called The Darkness, it caused much hilarity for Brits when Rose came out with the "The Darkness is coming..." line! xDDD

Oh man, they are a Queen-in-their-70's-glam-rock-phase-wannabes too. They are just SO terrible but in a good way!
Quick Youtube search and waddaya know, someone made a spoof video! So predictable but funny!

Don't worry about me staying tuned, I'm loving it! I love human!Ten/Rose fics... they take my mind off emo!puppy Doctor for now and it's nice to think of the Doctor and Rose getting their happy ending even if it's all a bit weird. They'll get over it and start shagging like rabbits in no time!

glad i turned down that second soda, or i'd have peed myself, swear.

this is the best thing EVAR. okay, so second to the catherine tate/david tennant sketch with lauren the problem student and the sonic screwdriver and the gazillion who references and GAH I LOVE DONNA, even when she isn't donna.

but this is awesome, too. really seriously awesome. i almost died.
