Well, it is kind of her job. I think she totally would anyway though. She did after all rip a hole in time and space just to find the Doctor again.

I like the resolution, a new start. But when/how did the Doctor get to the point where he would even become interested in Rose again? He seemed to be quite at ease with just getting on with his life.
Although saying that I'm still happy that you've given them a second chance.
Sequel?

May need to revisit and rewrite after I've let this sit for a bit. I was going for seeing her in a new light, not as this person he's supposed to know but doesn't, and who just assumes things about him, but just as a person, like any other person walking around out there. But a good person who's got a lot of admirable qualities (along with some not so admirable ones, but don't we all?) and a willingness to do some things no one else would do.

I love this. It paints the new! Doctor as a real individual person who has doubts and who has his own feelings and views. I really liked that he didn't just ACCEPT this new person (Rose) as his true love, when HE, himself, is just trying to find out exactly who and what kind of person he is.

Bravo.

i'm so very loving your unexpected take on the post-journey's-end fic. LOVING it. it's so possible and wonderful... not to mention your soulless version of the Alt!Doctor reminds me entirely creepily of my most recent ex-boyfriend, and the love of my life (to date). damn boys trying to find themselves and completely rending the hearts of their faithful lovers in the process. bah.

but your descriptions pull me right in and vacuum-seal me off from real life. you're a great talent!

I love this fresh-breath-fresh-start ending you have!! It was kind of abrupt, but the end was so prime. :) I'm glad to know it ended well!
