catching up...
after having spent way more time and money than I ever wanted to, to get my pc up and normal and a new monitor (which kicks ASS btw, even if I'm broke again *grin*) I think we're good to go for quite a while. *knocks on wood*
so, aside from that, I took a spill on monday and slid very not gracefully down about 5 steps at work. I'm fine, just embarrassed. of course, I jolted awake yesterday morning and so re-pulled my back muscle, which sucks.
went to see spiderman last night which was AWESOME even if I did want to slap MJ a couple of times here and there. *grin*
saw 9/11 the week before which was scary and depressing but very, very well done.
am entering about 3 contests this coming week so I'll be up all night tonight (after another spidey viewing *grin*) to polish off the scripts. 1 of which is an ABC/Disney fellowship for a year's employment which is what I really, really want to get, so if everyone can keep their fingers crossed, I'd be most grateful!
I have nothing to do at work for the next couple of weeks and so anticipate much writing getting done there, as well. *snicker*
am hearing fireworks out my window at the moment. hehehe.
and Woo-Hoo! I got pinnacle and can now capture video as well as dvd! *snort* it only took me 2 weeks to figure out I had it plugged in wrong. *whaps self* oooooohhh the music vids I'm gonna make! *happy sigh*
and my roommate, kel, has sucked me into West Wing as a new fandom. *grin* thanks, kel. I resisted for, what, the 5 years that it's been on? well, I've been watching it pretty much non-stop for the last couple of weeks and have begun dreaming in, as she said, 'sorkinese' hehehehe. so now I need to peruse for fanfics to read!
I think that's about it. hope everyone's been having a good summer and for the USA-ers, hope you guys have a happy and safe 4th!
