The past couple weeks have been going pretty good. (for some reason my journal "LJ" or "private" tends to be written in when something not so good has happened. I'm trying to shake that habit) My birthday came and went, and that was a lot of fun. Played pickup b-ball in the morning with papa and the crew, and then went home to practice being lazy and sitting on my fat bottom till late afternoon. We then went to my parents for a yummy dinner made by mommy and cake and presents after( Thanks again everyone!! they were great!!) Chloe has been helping me get through my quarter-life-crisis, so hopefully we'll be able to make it though this tricky stage of life. (:
Work has been going really well too. It has been a lot of fun to have tishoo working with me this summer, and I'm going to miss her help and all the conversations about music, naruto, and her silly friends. Today was my first day without her, and it was really lame and boring. miss you Trish.
These past couple weeks we've also got the ball rolling on getting into the market to buy a house. The house we live in is going into foreclosure (long story for another time) and Chloe being pregnant is pushing us to try to find a place to let our little tree grow. Some friends in our ward know our situation and asked if they could give our number to their brother a mortgage broker. We thought it couldn't hurt,so why not. Surprisingly to us, he called within a day or so wanting to meet with us and go over things(work a little slow?) We set up a time and met with him and I was happy with how helpful he was and all the info he was able to give us. I've been trying for months and months now to find out what I needed to do to find out what my credit was and what I needed to do to be in a position to buy a house.( I've hardly ever used credit in my life, leaving me with almost no history) Up till now, I haven't been able to learn anything besides get a credit card and start racking it up, which has been hard for me to swallow. just not my personality I guess. Anyways... Josh(broker guy) was able to help me with all our questions and is helping us through everything. All we need to do know is find the house. I'm really happy about how everything is falling into place. I am a bit stressed about his whole thing though. Life would be to boring if it was all to easy (:
