Hey you guys, hope everyone is having a great day.  I'm not.  I've been up since 4AM.  Why may you ask?  It was surely not by choice...especially today being the only day I can sleep past 7.   We slept at my mom and dad's house last night.  Chad and I were both off today, and I haven't seen my parents in a couple weeks, so after he got off of work, we went over last night.  Well, the power went off about 2AM this morning.  I woke up around 4 because I was becoming irritated.  I HAVE to have my fan and a/c to sleep.  No noise, no air circulating, tiny bed, two people, do the math.  I couldn't get comfortable, and after tossing and turning for 2 hours, I got up when it was daylight and went hang out with my aunt, because she's up very early.

Her dog Daisy seems to be doing better.  They took her to the vet to be put down ( a couple weeks ago) if there was nothing left for them to do, but in turn she came home with a different type of medication.  Her "spells" aren't as frequent, and she doesn't whine much anymore when she has them.  I was glad to see her today.  She's not very active, she doesn't do her little crawl thing anymore, and she looks like she is always sleepy, but she's still here, right?  I feel like what they did is prolonging the inevitable, but I know I would be the same if I were in the situation.

Anyway, 8 hours later, the power came back on.  It was a yucky day today, so my mom has a little electric grill she can use in her house, so she made hamburgers, hot dogs, grilled chicken, and vegetables.  I LOVE grilled veggies, especially onions, but that was cut short due to the power going out AGAIN.  We were also in the middle of watching a movie, so no ending to the movie, and no cooked veggies to go with my chicken.  At this point, I can't say that I was tired of being there, I love my parents so much, and I don't see them everyday, or ever week anymore for that matter, so I wasn't ready to leave to get away, but I had other things to do here at my house, and sitting around without electricity wasn't getting them done, so we left.  I think the drive home was the most interesting thing of the day...but that's for another time and place.

I am so ready to go to bed.  I'm waiting on my red beans to finish cooking.  I've been trying to go fresh or frozen...not cans, so I'm waiting on those to finish up so I can go to bed.  I'm cranky, and tired of hearing this stupid theme song to this dumb game Chad is playing.  At least he isn't in a strip club or something, so I guess I shouldn't complain.   I'm tired of whining, and I'm just plain tired.  Going to bed.   Night.
