My Mind is a Scary Place
Anyone remember the Crossover Dream of Bizarre Yet Epic Awesomeness? Last night I had another one. As soon as I woke up I wrote down as much as I could remember, because it has the potential to be THE most awesomely cracktacular crossover EVER.
So, as always, it all kicked off in Sunnydale - from the cast floating around I'm guessing mid season 6. I can't recall the exact nature of the Big Bad apart from a vague feeling that it was female. She controlled an army of zombies - both the normal kind and mind!zombies - and wiped out much of California at a stroke, including most of the cast of BtVS/AtS/
Also, apparently San Dimas got caught in the crossfire. See, what happens is that the brain-leeches (Weird purple centipede-looking things) lay and egg in your brain, which hatches into another brain-leech. But, if they lay too many eggs, the multiple baby brain-leeches start fighting. Cue THE MOST DISTURBING THING I have ever witnessed. Young blonde man runs into shot. He falls to the ground, clutching his head and writhing in agony. He's screaming; "Oh god, get them out, get them out!". There's a horrible gristly noise and his skull splits - four brain leeches flop out and crawl off to freedom. As shot pulls back I realise it's Bill, from Bill and Ted. Boy does my mind scare me sometimes.
So anyway, the zombie plague spreads across most of North America. The survivors form groups to fight the zombies and launch attacks on the Big Bad's lair in Sunnydale. I remember Nolanverse!Batman, SG-1, and the Mag7 ATF being involved - the resistance was centered around Cheyenne Mountain and Gotham. (Interesting side note - my dreaming mind had paired Ezra up with some sort of con-man/petty thief played by John Simm. There was a whole subplot there). And there was an ass-kicking lieutenant who reminded me of a hybrid between Firefly's Zoe and Futurama's Leela
I also remember that there were two entrances to the Big bad's lair - one guarded by zombies, they other by a giant mutant leopard-thing. And that some of the mind-zombies (Who weren't human/had weird powers/etc) were starting to fight the Big Bad's control and get their own minds back.
