(no subject)

I've just read that drugs are basically legal in portugal. they confiscate them if they find them on you, but you don't get arrested or anything. they treat drug addiction as an illness rather than as a crime. it's so weird, they're so old fashioned in everything, and then i find out that they do actually have some common sense in some things. i've been looking at universities, and university costs, and it's so scary. i have no idea at all which university to go to. and there are only 5 universities that do english and psychology, so if i dont like any of them, i'm going to have to decide between english or psychology. i know i should do psychology, but i'm finding it so dull at the moment, and even though i shouldn't base my opinion on a subject on how they teach it at laswap, it still puts me off. my mum said i should do economics and become a bank manager, because we were looking at the wage predictions and they end up earning 70000 by the time they're 50. i think she's really, really dissapointed that i want to be a psychologist/teacher. they had one of the lowest wages out of the professions on the wage predictor. and my parents really, really want me to go to university in portugal, where i'd have a relative in whatever city i chose to study in to live in, and where there aren't tuition fees. what do i have to do to show them how much that is never going to happen?
