the yeah yeah yeahs last night were such a dissapointment. the setlist had to be one of the worst i've seen. i mean, who would ever think of starting with, like, 4 songs no one knows, playing one song from the album which isn't even one of the best, and then playing some more unknown songs. they didn't play man or no no no, two of my favourite songs. and the crowd was so crap, everyone just standing there. the spotlights on karen o made it seems like the lights were on. they dragged the beggining of songs out way too much.
it's not even that it was crap or anything, it's just that i've been looking forward to it for so long, building it up to be this amazing thing and then it was so average. it doesn't even feel like i've been to their gig, because there was no atmosphere, it was just like watching their performance on tv, only sweatier. and thats the thing, everyone always says how great the atmosphere at a yeah yeah yeahs gig is, how it completly draws you in, but it just didn't.
