Basically? It's a world wide fighting tournament where you can either sign up going in solo or in a team. The fighters aren't really your average joes, some of them are capable of performing some things that isn't possible for most humans, myself included on the 'doing things that isn't possible' part.

The drinking and the parties is what comes after, depending on how you want to spend your victory or whatever after the tournament is over.
