Feeling good about life
For the first time in a long long time I feel like I have things under control. There are stll plenty of worries of course:
1) I have $40k in student loans to start paying off.
2) I owe the IRS almost $3k and VA over $600.
3) I still have a lot of debt left from Sapphire Magus to pay off.
4) I don't like the company I work for but cannot leave until December at the earliest.
5) I need a second job to start addressing the debt more aggressively and the market isn't good.
But I know that I got myself into these situations and that I can get myself out. Also I have a lot of positive to keep in mind.
1) I have my degree, and I have it before the 10 year reunion.
2) I have a nice apartment to live in, in a nice neighborhood close to work and family.
3) My job is acceptably challenging and co-workers are tolerable; even grateful with a new recent duty.
4) Courtesy of dad I have a car that works.
5) I am paying for all of my own insurances and Hentai's as well.
6) I am earning enough that we are not living paycheck to paycheck.
7) Hentai is stable enough that I don't have to stress over him; and I can feel good about the way things are right now.
8) My pets are healthy and happy.
9) I can finally start up all the projects I couldn't because of school.
10) I can work two jobs now that school is finaly done.
11) My debt is being paid down well enough that I have largely rebuilt my credit.
12) My relationship with my family is well enough that I can ask for help when needed, and occasionally I get invited to do special things.
So I'm doing pretty well now. And its nice to feel like I've started accomplishing things.
