Why after four years...

...is it still unsettling to think "you have the first day of class today."

[update 1]
I dragged myself out of bed at 8:00 am just to be sick to my stomach. Thank god for Sarah sending me the new DCFC album, because it made the morning bearable. I went to get a parking permit, but could only afford a "G" permit. Sean insisted that I could park in a residential lot during the day, so I did and went to class.

[update 2]
I sat in the back of class. I saw Jorge sitting in the front, and woke up Brooke with a text "Quick: what's Jorge's number!?" She got mad at me for waking up, but gave me the number. I made it up to her by helping her get some information. Sitting across the room are the two best basketball players at UNT...I recognize them only because of how often I interviewed them (namely Josh).

[update 3]
So far, I like this professor. He's kind monotonous, but he's better than the bitch (forgive my forwardness) that normally teaches the class. The girl I thought was the TA was absolutely gorgeous (so far out of my league, so not like it matters); it turned out that she's just a temporary TA while the normal one is ill. Also the word "multiple choice exams" makes me smile something fierce, but my first one is in 10 days.

[update 4]
I got to the point in class that I started singing The Beatles in my head while we discussed the basis of the Declaration of Independence and The Constitution. I learned (or interpreted) one thing out of this discussion: mankind was sought to be under the reign of "Nature's God" not any religious interpretation of God; as such it is safe to assume that being "One Nation Under God" or "In God We Trust" is a reference to Nature's god on inevitability.

[update 5]
I wasn't allowed to use my computer in Philosophy...meh. I got back later this evening and just kinda sat around. My back is still killing me, and my bruised ribs are in tons of pain. Just getting used to the, "park in a G lot, walk to wooten, walk to eesat, walk back to the lot," hike.
