Bad day
12:30 today, the driver side rear tire blew its tread out while going down I-24 just past Belvoir Exit. I'm on the side of the road, bronco thrown into park, blinkers on and turned off in under 10 seconds. I was surrounded by traffic, but wasn't hurt and didn't cause an accident.
Matthew Curvin came and got me, his dad gave him two tires to put replace the back two because the passenger side looked like it was getting ready to do the exact same thing.
3:00 PM, I'm sitting outside of my work, good tires on the back, slipping into shock because that's the closest I've ever been to being in an accident. I don't remember most of work and at about 7:15, the shock wore off.
At about 9, the adrenaline finally wore off. Left work at about 10, driving home in the rain and fog, made me very glad that the tire blew earlier in the day. I'm on empty right now and feel empty.
That being said, I told Matthew that I wanted first dibs on that bronco. I like it...when the tires aren't blowing out.
