how much can happen in one week??
it was such a good weekend for me.
on friday, i had thrown together a party (for my 21st) for far left limit and existance is dead no less that a week ago. i thought maybe 20ish people would turn up, and we could just watch the bands, and all hang out. But as turned out, about 60ish ppl came, and i had the best time. the bands were mad, although we played like shit, and i had sooo much fun hanging out with my friends and shit.
Then on saturday day, we played a gig at the club house in glebe. i love that venue. Ir was prolly our best gig we have played (well at least for me). it made it even better, that, in the "crowd" there werent many friends watching, and just randoms, and they all went off for us...
i love it when people who arent my friends dig the music i write. ive noticed that friends will like your music, not for the music, but just cos u are friends with them.. they are kind of blinded by friendship.
but someone you dont know. if they dig your music, u know its cos they like the music... though i understand that some people will fall in love with our looks.. ahahah
it was mad to hang out with the fll guys. i spoke to max heaps. what a mad kid he is. i was a little worried that he might feel uncomfortanle when we are in europe, being the "outsider", but man, he is just like us, and i love him!!! YAY
i cant believe how good of a drummer he is. he has improved sooooo much. i am eager to jam with him. he is coming up on the 16th of dec to jam. cant wait.
i hang out with stace all of saturday day, before the gig. she is such a funny girl. i made her come shopping with me.. ahaha.
oh, and susie came to my party on friday. she is sooo rad. ahhhaa. she got a little drunk i think. ahhaa
i was a little sad that marieke didnt come to my paaarrtty. she had her friends 18ths on that night. she is going on skoolies soon so i wont see her for a bit.
