woohoo. i am going out with tegan tonight. yay for me!
finally having a band practice after oh so long. i am looking forward to shervs party. i much prefer playing to a bunch of friends, in a house, then some club to nerds... this thursday should be funny tho. as a band, i feel out of place.. hahah. look at the line up. screamo, emo, emo, thrash. hahaha and i was speaking to joel the other day, and we have a 35min set to fill. so when we are to go on, we will have sit around from about 20mins, then play for 10-12mins. then get off.. hahaha. mad
finally, we are recording the vocals for hxh tommra. cant wait. i better like them, or ill cry. (i am being a picky nerd)
i usually go through bursts of wanting to play guitar, and now is one of them. ive written some cool songs which i wouldnt mind jamming (with a new band). Heaps melodic, fast in bits, but mainly just happy punk songs. You could call them youth crew, but whenever i think of youth crew, i think of break downs, which you can "circle pit" to... nah. these songs are too cheesy for that. just fun sing a long songs. all i need now, is someone who can sing (shogun????)... oh, and the rest of the band as well...
