Remember Crystal? She was Hooker's date, the stripper, back in Joliet.
The great thing about dating Hooker? He was fun. He was funny, good-looking, a sweet talker. When they were together, he treated her good.
The good thing about Hooker? He'd spend money on her to make her feel special. Not that he had money often. Usually he would borrow money from her, but he still made her feel special. In bed, too.
The good thing about Hooker? He liked her. Never acted like she was too tall, never acted like she shouldn't strip down at the burlesque.
The bad thing about dating Hooker? He was gone. And not coming back.
