I asked this on Twitter, but I think everyone is still asleep, so I'll ask here instead. :) Does anyone know where "Shattered Glass" came from? Was that a deliberate spin off of "The Mirrorverse"?
Aw, they're totally different. It was a special for a Botcon -- and one I wished I'd been able to get. ;)
I had a ton of people writing and complaining about the rip-off bits way back when it happened, and my response was simply... It's not a new concept, by any means, as you of course know. Heck, everyone parodies that Star Trek episode, right down to the goatee. ;) So, eh, it was just a cool thing to run with that year. A lot of folks I didn't even know existed came out of the woodwork on that one, weird. Had no idea the stuff was that read.
Have I heard rumor that they sure knew about MV - yep! Heard it from a pretty reliable source, too, haha.
That said, I just sort of grin a little, being a comic writer who took it to fanfic at one point.
What's also weird? All of a sudden I've had people asking where the page went, and what happened to all that stuff. Out of the blue. Is there something going on out there that I'm unaware of, some discussion on a board or something?
(Sorry, so out of the TF loop here it's not funny. I mean, I still enjoy them, and I still collect the ones I like, but... writing wise? Nada, I'm afraid. XD)
